After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour of Delhi’s iconic landmarks. Start in Old Delhi, exploring the majestic Jama Masjid (built in 1650) and the UNESCO-listed Red Fort, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, the serene memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, before hopping on a traditional rickshaw for a lively ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi, marvel at the towering Qutab Minar, a 12th-century victory tower, and the symmetrical beauty of Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Drive past India Gate, a war memorial, and the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Residence) flanked by Parliament House. The evening is yours to wander local markets like Connaught Place or Khan Market. Rise early for a morning train journey to Varanasi, one of the world’s oldest living cities and Hinduism’s spiritual heart. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and freshen up. As dusk falls, head to Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a synchronized ritual of fire, chants, and devotion honoring the Ganges River. The flickering lamps and rhythmic hymns create an unforgettable atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel in Varanasi.

Begin at dawn with a serene sunrise boat ride on the Ganges, observing pilgrims performing rituals along the ghats. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then set out to explore Varanasi’s sacred temples. Later, drive to Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit the Ashoka Pillar (India’s national emblem), ancient monasteries, and the Deer Park, where Buddha set the “Wheel of Dharma” in motion. Return to Varanasi for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 5.5-hour drive to Bodhgaya, the site of Buddha’s enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi Tree. Return to Bodhgaya for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, Depart early for Kushinagar, stopping en route at Vaishali, where Buddha delivered his final sermon. Visit the Ashoka Pillar, Lotus Tank, and Chaumukhi Stupa, relics of this ancient Buddhist hub. Arrive in Kushinagar by evening, the site of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana (final passing). Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

After breakfast, begin with a visit to the Mahaparinirvana Temple, housing a 6-meter reclining Buddha statue, and the adjacent Ramabhar Stupa. Cross into Nepal and drive to Lumbini, Buddha’s birthplace. En route, explore the Mahakala Caves, believed to be meditation sites for ancient monks. In Lumbini, visit the Mayadevi Temple marking Buddha’s birth and the serene Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

After breakfast, visit Kapilvastu, where Buddha spent his early life as Prince Siddhartha. See the ruins of his palace and the Ashoka Pillar commemorating the site. Continue to Sravasti, an ancient town where Buddha performed miracles. Explore the Jetavana Monastery, where he spent 24 monsoons, and the Anand Bodhi Tree planted by his disciple. Overnight stay in Sravasti.
